So when I made the decision to start a blog, the hardest part was the name. I went through lots of different ideas ... most were taken ... frustration ensued (yes, I had to look up how to spell that) ... and monkey munch popped into my head. Little background - monkey munch is my favorite delicious treat. I have made two batches of it in the last week. Which is why it was fresh in my mind. Other people call it muddy buddies or puppy chow. We call it monkey munch. It is an amazing combo of rice chex, chocolate, peanut butter and powdered sugar. It doesn't get much better. But that is where the name comes from ...
Now here is about us (the monkey munch family):
I am first and foremost a child of God. My family and I live in beautiful PA and although a lot of people are scared of snow, I love it (especially from the inside of my house next to a warm fire)! I don't know what I would do without the seasons (LOVE fall). I can be very crafty in spurts. I might sew consistently for three months then not touch the sewing machine for a year... same with knitting. Not sure why, maybe it's my attention span? I am a stay-at-home mom of three great kids and a newbie homeschooler. My husband and I have been married for 12 wonderful years. I love being at home with my kids and I love to homeschool them!
